Where the model was built.

Somaliland has been Pharo’s proving ground since 2012. It is where all three missions run at once, and where we have learned the most about what direct delivery really demands.

Our schools in Hargeisa and Sheikh sit alongside the Pharo Hargeisa International School, now under construction. Beyond our own classrooms, the ECE and Government Primary Schools programmes strengthen the public system, and our water programme captures and stores water across a drought-exposed landscape.

It is also where we have learned hard commercial lessons about when to persist with a project and when to exit, and the discipline of judging each one honestly.
